Adoptable Pet Of The Week: Tigger

Tigger was adopted from NAWS previously, but his owner had medical issues and needed surgery, so he was given back.

MOKENA, IL — For those looking to adopt a pet, a great place to look for your new family member is at NAWS Humane Society of Illinois. This week's 'Adoptable Pet' is Tigger, who is available for adoption at the humane society.

Tigger is a 4 and a 1/2 year old Australian Cattledog mix. The society said he is very playful, energetic and outgoing. He gets along with other dogs, and does well in doggy playgroup. He plays hard, so another high-energy pup might be best.

Tigger was adopted from NAWS previously, but his owner had medical issues and needed surgery, so he was given back. The society said Tigger also knows sit and will take treats very gently.
