Advocate Health Care to Begin Operating Walgreens Clinic in Mokena
Advocate Clinic at Walgreens will expand access to high-quality, affordable health care options in convenient neighborhood setting

Community leaders, health care officials, patients and providers will gather in Mokena on Wednesday, May 18 to mark the opening of Advocate Clinic at Walgreens, which will expand access to high-quality, affordable health care options for patients in convenient neighborhood locations. Advocate Health Care will begin operating the health care clinics at 56 Walgreens stores across Chicagoland, in Cook, DeKalb, DuPage, Kane, Kendall, Lake, McHenry and Will counties.
The Mokena grand opening will take place May 18 from 11 am to 1 pm at Walgreens, 20002 Wolf Rd. Light refreshments will be offered and there will be giveaways and prizes, including Walgreens gift certificates and a FitBit Alta.
The clinics will offer physicals, vaccinations, travel immunizations, as well as treatment for a range of common illnesses and injuries. No appointments are necessary. The clinic will be staffed by board-certified nurse practitioners and medical assistants who are employed, trained and supervised by Advocate Medical Group. Individuals do not need to be a current Advocate patient to receive care at Advocate Clinic at Walgreens.
