On Wednesday, May 27, 2026, at 10:30 a.m., a COMMUNITY MEETING will be conducted by Mokena
School District 159. The purpose of this meeting will be to discuss the district’s plan for providing special
education services to students who attend private and home schools within the district for the 2026-2027
school year. If you are a parent of a private school student, or a home-schooled student, who has been
identified with a disability and you reside within the boundaries of Mokena School District 159, you are
urged to attend. If you have further questions pertaining to this meeting, or would like to arrange to attend
