MOKENA, IL — Crafted 1979 this weekend brings two unique events to the Mokena community, combining local artistry, live music, food options, and beverages. Kicking off Friday, Sept 11 is the Crafted Small Street Market, followed by the much-anticipated 8th Annual Crafted Small Batch Beer Festival on Saturday, Sept. 12. Both events promise memorable experiences for art enthusiasts and beer lovers.
Small Street Market
Friday, Sept. 11, 6 to 10 p.m.
This artisan market will feature 30 vendors curated by John Streetz and the Streetz Art Alliance. Crafted 1979 will pour local beer from Gnosis Brewing, Revolution Brewing, and Phase Three Brewing Company. Crafted will also be offering Signature cocktails, wine, soda, and non-alcoholic options.
Food truck offerings will include Cousins Maine Lobster, Reina Del Pozole, and Joey's Red Hots. Music provided by The Bardy Party and Creatures of Habit.
All ages are welcome and no ticket is required. Crafted 1979 will also be open for business during the event. The event is located on the street in front of Crafted 1979s parking lot. Crafted is located at 19200 LaGrange Rd Ste E, Mokena.
Crafted Small Batch
Saturday, Sept. 12, 4 to 8 p.m.
This event is a ticketed beer fest featuring 30 breweries (mostly local) serving one-off, unique, limited kegs. Event is also located on the street in front of the taproom.
Tickets for VIP entry are sold out, but general admission tickets still remain. Tickets available at www.crafted1979.com. General admission entry begins at 5 p.m.
Complimentary glassware is included with cost of ticket. Food vendors include Which Which and Jets Pizza.
Must be 21+ to attend Saturday's event. Crafted 1979 will be open for business during this event.
