MOKENA, IL — Traffic was shut down in the westbound lanes of I-80 near Mokena Friday, after a single-vehicle crash involving a semi, Illinois State Police said.
Preliminary reports indicate that a semi with double trailers hit a concrete barrier around 11:30 a.m., and both trailers detached during the crash.
All westbound lanes were closed and traffic was being diverted onto LaGrange Road. One lane has since reopened.
No injuries were reported.
The incident is ongoing, state police said.
