Flexeon Rehabilitation Clinic Opens in Mokena

Flexeon Rehabilitation has opened its 17th clinic at 9442 W. 191st St. in Mokena.

The new clinic specializes in orthopedic hand rehabilitation therapy.

The Mokena clinic Director is Josh Feigl, MPT, OCS, CSCS, who also directs the Frankfort Clinic at 43 Bankview Drive. Feigl is a board-certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist with a master's degree in physical therapy from the University of Evansville.

His clinical focus is on orthopedic and sports rehabilitation. He received advanced training and continuing education in the areas of manual therapy, sports medicine, lower extremity biomechanics, rehabilitation of the throwing athlete and progressive therapeutic exercise.

Laura Jo DeFalco is occupational therapist at the new clininc and she provides a wide range of orthopedic hand rehabilitation services including conservative, post-surgical, traumatic injury, wound care, splinting and work conditioning.

DeFalco earned a bachelor of science degree in occupational therapy from Chicago State University.

For the past eight years, DeFalco has focused on extensive orthopedic hand rehabilitation with one of the top surgeons in the Chicago south suburban area.

She is a member of the Chicago Metro Hand Study Organization and is preparing to sit for her hand therapist certification exam.

A member of the Illinois Occupational Therapy Association and the American Occupational Therapy Association, DeFalco presented at the IOTA Conference in 2004 and the AOTA Conference in 2007.

Flexeon Rehabilitation is also the provider of physical therapy services for several suburban high schools. The Frankfort facility provides athletic training services for Lincoln-Way East and Lincoln-Way North High Schools.
