Arbury Hills Physical Education Program Gets Blue Ribbon Distinction
A state organization has recognized the physical education program at Arbury Hills School in Mokena.

MOKENA, IL - The physical education program at Arbury Hills School in Mokena has earned a Blue Ribbon distinction from the Illinois Association for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance.
"Our physical education curriculum is designed to cover concepts that focus on our students’ physical development, cognitive development, and social/emotional well-being," said John Snipes, Arbury Hills principal. "Formative and summative assessments help students grow and achieve the most out of their physical education experience."
Snipes said that every student at the school has a portfolio created to track performance and progress from grades 1 through 4.
