Car Burglary Suspect: Mokena Police Release Photo

MOKENA, IL — Mokena Police are looking to identify a man involved in a car burglary at 12:30 p.m. on Friday in the 9900 block of Giles Drive. Police are sharing a photo of the person who entered an open garage and then entered an unlocked car that was parked in the garage.

According to police, the man in the photo is seen wearing a red Ohio State hooded sweatshirt, and he exited a black Hyundai Santa Fe. It is unknown if the man was armed.

If you see this person, or anything suspicious, you should contact police immediately by calling 911. Do not confront or follow these individuals, police said. If you have relevant video from a security system or Ring doorbell camera, you can contact the Mokena Police Department to share footage.
