The Census Deadline is fast Approaching
Only 81% of Mokena Residents have Responded to the 2020 U.S. Census as of August 18th.

The results of the 2020 Census will be used to direct billions of tax dollars to local communities for schools, roads, and other public services. The Census will help our community prepare to meet transportation and emergency readiness needs as well as the number of seats each state has in the U.S. House of Representatives. The Census Bureau is using the internet to securely collect Census information. By filing online at (https://my2020census.gov/) it helps to conserve natural resources, save taxpayer money, and process data more efficiently. If you have not already filed the Census online the Census Bureau should have sent you a paper questionnaire to complete and mail back. If you need help completing the questionnaire, you can call 1-844-330-2020. Residents still have time to complete their Census: online, by phone and by paper form, but time is running out, as responses must be completed by September 30th per U.S. Census Bureau. If you have not yet filed your 2020 Census you maybe contacted by a Census enumerator who is following up in person to be sure there is a complete count.
