Consumer Identity Theft Alert
Unfortunately as a victim of identity theft I have to be the voice and alert others.
I have recently been a victim of what I believe to be identity theft and fraud on my Chase online banking. Someone deposited counterfeit checks that looked to be from my employer into my account using the Chase app. They forged my employers two check signers and my signature. Then they did 3 separate quickpays out of my checking account totaling $3700. I filed a claim with Chase and they are denying the claim. Chase is saying they did not find this to be fraudulent activity on my checking account. I've spoken to about 35 different Chase employees getting a different story depending on who I speak with. I've read other horror stories online about Chase. I think this is very poor customer service. What happened to customer is always right? The public needs to be aware of this scam and how we as the victim can be helped. The bank isn't helping me one bit and it seems to be the platform where the crimes took place on. I feel violated on every level and am looking to be reimbursed of my $3700.
Please help me in this desperate time.
