Curtain Call Theatre in Mokena has musical theater fun for the whole family this summer. Curtain Call will kick off the summer with auditions for ASSASSINS, a musical, Monday, April 8th at 7:00 pm or Wednesday, April 10th at 7:00 pm. You only need to attend one of the audition times, no pre-registration necessary. Please prepare a selection from a Broadway musical that is serious, solemn, or patriotic in nature. No comic or character songs should be performed. Bring a clean copy of the music for the accompanist. The song should be 16-32 measures in length. There will be cold readings from the script. Ages: 16 & up, anyone under 18 must bring a parent or guardian to sign audition application. Auditions are located at: Curtain Call Front Street Theatre, 11112 Front Street, Mokena, IL. Do you have up and coming musical stars from the ages of K – 8th grade? You will want to register online for CURTAIN CALL THEATRE'S 17th ANNUAL EMILY McCABE MUSICAL THEATRE PROGRAM.
Grades 4-8 will be performing FROZEN Jr. This is a five-week camp which begins June 10 and meets Monday -Thursday (first week is Monday through Friday) at St. Mary School; 11409 West 195th Street, Mokena. There are two sessions to choose from: morning: 9:00-12:30 or afternoon: 1:00-4:30. Performances are July 12-14, 2019 at Lincoln-Way Central HS. Camp cost is $395.00.
