Urinetown, the Musical is the story of a Gotham-like city, with a terrible water shortage, caused by a 20-year drought, which has led to a government-enforced ban on private toilets. The citizens must use public amenities, regulated by a single malevolent company that profits by charging admission for one of humanity's most basic needs. Amid the people, a hero decides that he's had enough and plans a revolution to lead them all to freedom! This winner of three Tony Awards, this musical is a hilarious satire of the legal system, capitalism, social irresponsibility, populism, bureaucracy, corporate mismanagement, municipal politics and musical theatre itself!
Tickets are selling very fast for the June 15th - 17th & June 22nd - 24th production of 12 Angry Jurors at the Front Street Theatre, tickets can be purchased online at: www.ccctheatre.com. 12 Angry Jurors takes place in a New York jury room in 1957, where a 19-year-old man has just stood trial for the fatal stabbing of his father. It looks like an open-and-shut case, until one of the jurors begins opening the others' eyes to the facts. Each juror reveals his or her own character as the various testimonies are re-examined, the murder is re-enacted and a new murder threat is born before their eyes. Tempers get short, arguments grow heated, and the jurors become 12 angry jurors. Curtain Call’s incredibly talented jurors are: Grace Pieczynski, Bill Gleason, Adam Griffiths, Jacob Tolbert, Josh Reid, Jim Stewart, Andrew Morin, Mitchell Palmer, Ben Davis, Kyna Simpson, Cathie Stewart, Jim Collins and Jim Katula. This cast of angry jurors are directed by Jaimey Kennedy and Donna White.
