56th Annual Park Forest Art Fair

The Park Forest Art Fair is the second oldest juried art fair in Chicagoland.  The 56th Annual Park Forest Art Fair will be held on Saturday, September 17 and Sunday, September 18 from 10 - 5 in Downtown Park Forest which is adjacent to Village Hall.  Participating artists come from as far away as California and New Hampshire.  Artworks represent a range of media from painting, print-making, pastels and photography to jewelry, wood, glass and fiber arts.  On Saturday, the Village of Park Forest will host a music fest with musical groups that perform jazz, pop and blues.  On Sunday, fest favorite, Patchouli will perform all day.  There are many activities for children including an art contest and tie dying.  While visiting the fair, drop in at the Gallery which is hosting an exhbit of Tall Grass artists.  For additional information, visit the Tall Grass Facebook page, its website (www.tallgrassarts.org) or call the gallery at 708-748-3377.
