Mokena Park District is offering Hero School on Tuesdays from 6:30-7:30 p.m. beginning Oct. 19 for five classes at Mokena Elementary School, 11244 Willowcrest Lane, Mokena. Registration deadline is Oct. 12.
This one-of-a-kind athletic program is for any kid who wants to be a hero! Each class will focus on a heroic trait such as Spiderman's agility, Superman's strength and speed, and Jedi light-saber techniques. Helps kids develop skills for real-life situations such as fire safety, stranger danger and more. For ages 4-6. Fee is $40. Non-residents will pay an additional fee.
