The Mokena Park District is offering Get Ready for the Holidays – Modern manners 101 on Sunday, Nov. 7, from 1-2:30 p.m. for one class at The Oaks Recreation & Fitness Center, 10847 LaPorte Road, Mokena.
Girls and boys will learn manners and social skills including proper greetings, telephone etiquette, thank-you notes, setting the table, and dining skills. Girls are asked to wear dresses or dressy pants and boys should wear a shirt and tie. Jeans or athletic wear are not appropriate for this class. Age 7-13. Fee $28. Non-residents pay an additional fee.
