Lincoln-Way East students prepare for fall play

Lincoln-Way East High School students are hard at work learning their lines to Romeo & Juliet or The Old "You-Know-I-Love-You-But-My-Father-Really-Hates-You" Blues and Oh, What a Tangled Web.

"We have such a talented group of actors here at East," said Lincoln-Way East English teacher and fall play sponsor Hilary Gansauer. "I chose One-Acts this year so that everyone had a chance to shine ... and make the audience laugh!"

The first drama/comedy, Romeo & Juliet or The Old "You-Know-I-Love-You-But-My-Father-Really-Hates-You" Blues, is based on William Shakespeare's famous tragedy but written by playwright Nancy Linehan Charles.
