Music From World War I and II

David Molinari and Joni Hoerger will perform popular songs from the World War I and World War II eras along with historical background and anecdotes from that era. Wartime books, historical items, sheet music, flags and artifacts will be on display.  This program is dedicated to the Americans who served and still serve our nation's defense in peacetime and in war. Souvenir Program will be handed out to all attendees.
 
World War I songs include "Pack Up Your Troubles," "The Caissons Go Rolling Along," "A Long Way to Tipperrary," "Roll out the Barrel," "Waltzing Matilda" and "Hinky Dinky Parlez Vous."

World War II songs include "I'll Be Seeing You," "The Halls of Montezuma," "The White Cliffs of Dover," "It's Been a Long, Long Time," "Don't Sit Under the  Apple Tree," "Lili Marlene" and many more.

Also meet Robert Powers, author of "1966: The Year of the Horse," an autobiography of his Vietnam  military experience. There will be an opportunity to purchase autographed copies of his book before and after the program.
