Fireworks Near Me: Mokena's 4th Of July 2020

MOKENA, IL – July 4 is quickly approaching, which means it's time to find out what Fourth of July fireworks and festivities are going on near you this Independence Day. In Mokena, the annual Fourth of July parade has been canceled, but the fireworks show is still a go.

"We will have fireworks the night of the Fourth of July, and that's for sure," Mayor Frank Fleischer said at the June 8 village board meeting.

Details on the show, like timing and location, have not yet been released.

There are also other Fourth of July events happening in nearby towns. In New Lenox, the town will hold a Fourth of July parade honoring essential workers and Romeoville will put on three fireworks shows on July 4.
