A celebration of life for Geraldine Velko will be held this Saturday, April 15, 11a-1p at Willowview Park in Mokena, IL.

Geraldine "Geri" Velko, daughter of the late Charles & Jean Dyrkacz, was born July 26, 1951 in Chicago, IL.
She worked much of her career in medical billing and in her spare time enjoyed rooting for the White Sox and Bulls and trying her luck on the penny slots.

Geri peacefully passed away at home on April 7, 2017 with her daughter, Laurie Sojak and grand dog, Lexi near her side.
Geri's year long battle with cancer never broke her spirit and her beautiful life will be cherished by her siblings Nancy (Jack) Wesolowski and John (Jan) Dyrkacz. She is also survived by niece & God daughter Ann (Scott) Douglas along with their children Emma, Grace & Hannah, nephew Chuck Wesolowski, niece Tash (Robert) Torres, Cousins Karen (Bill) Smaltz, Tom (Angie) Rybarczyk, Jan (Doug) DeJarnatt, Judy (Jerry) Novak and many extended cousins and dear friends.
