Hidden Cameras Found Near Band Room, Teacher Charged
James Vidmar of Mokena has been charged after police say hidden cameras were found near the band room at Beecher High School.

BEECHER, IL - A band teacher at far south suburban Beecher High School was in the Will County jail over the weekend after he was arrested on accusations of unauthorized video recording. James F. Vidmar, 44, of Mokena was arrested in Crest Hill on Nov. 30 by Beecher police who executed an arrest warrant.
Beecher Police Chief Gregory D. Smith said Vidmar was suspended by the school earlier in November when staff found hidden cameras in ancillary rooms attached to the school's band room.
