Hoosier Wanted For Forging $9,800 Check Captured: Cops

The Indiana man was arrested and locked up in the Will County jail.

An Indiana man wanted for forging a $9,800 check was taken into custody.

Sean Bailey, 45, was arrested and booked into the Will County jail Saturday on a single felony count of forgery.

In March, Bailey, a resident of Hammond, brought a forged check to Byline Bank, according to a criminal complaint on file in Will County court. The forged check was made out to be from a real estate company, the complaint said.

Bailey’s bond was set at $75,000.
