Join us for a community forum where we will be discussing the current five district divisions. The current districts are divided ineffectively. The current system contains five district with one council each, and three at large - these are not equitable nor just. Six council people live within a four square mile area, and as a result the community if underrepresented.
A possible solution for this issue would be to create eight districts instead of five. This will ensure that the city council representatives are more responsive, visible, and approachable to their constituent district needs.
