Summer Photo Camp

for inquisitive kids who love taking pictures!

TWO SUMMER SESSIONS:

June 22-25 9-11:30AM

Thursday evenings 6-8:30PM on the following dates: july 16, 23, 30 and august 6

$110 per child includes all supplies for sessions.

Recommended for kids ages 10 and up, who have a digital camera (not just a phone) and an ipad/tablet.

**Device for uploading photos to your ipad or tablet is recommended and can be purchased online prior to the start of camp.**

All other supplies included.

Every single gathering provides instruction on cameras, photography technique, photo-related project(s) and a take-home photo project with next day critique in an engaging, safe, friendly and FUN atmosphere for kids!

Indoor and outdoor projects included so no weather delays!

Digital camera (not camera phone) and ipad/tablet recommended.

All supplies included.

Schedule includes:

Science of Photography - How and why the camera works the way it does and how to make photos more interesting! Photo t-shirt printing!

All about Light - Portraits, Painting with Light, and other fun studio/indoor projects!

Photojournalist for a Day - local photo safari around Mokena to photograph and ask questions. Print and write captions for your photos that may appear in the Mokena Messenger newspaper and online at mokenamessenger.com!

Digital Artwork - Using photo apps for photo editing and enhancement. Make a terrific craft project with your favorite photograph!

Each class will be taught and supervised by Jean Lachat and at least one assistant. Jean lachat photography is a fully licensed and insured corporation.
