Laraway Road Collision Tuesday Morning Proves Fatal

A Tuesday morning accident on Laraway Road in Frankfort claimed the life of a 57-year-old University Park man. Anthony B. Rutledge was westbound on Laraway Road at 6:45 a.m. when an eastbound minivan crossed the center lane just west of 80th Avenue, striking Rutledge’s Ford Taurus, police said. He was pronounced dead at Silver Cross Hospital an hour later, according to the Will County coroner. The woman driving the minivan was also taken to the hospital. The accident remains under investigation.
