Lincoln-Way East Cheerleading Sits Atop Leaderboard After First Day at State
Wish them luck on day two!

Lincoln-Way East cheerleading paced the field on the first day of the 2015 IHSA Large Division Cheerleading State competition, posting the top score of all 25 teams in their division. The squad will compete in the event’s final round on Saturday, February 7, at U.S. Cellular Coliseum in Bloomington, Ill.
Lincoln-Way East’s preliminary-round score of 92.5 ranked just less than one point ahead of second-place Lockport with a 91.67, and 2.57 points ahead of third-place Sandburg. District 210’s Lincoln-Way North sits in fourth, with an 89.80.
The finals for the Large Division will take place Saturday, and Lincoln-Way East is scheduled to perform at 4:10 p.m.

Tickets for the IHSA State Finals will be available at the door, and are $10 for both children and adults (children in hand are free).
