Lincoln-Way Marching Band Will Be In Mokena's 4th Of July Parade
Before Pasadena comes Mokena for the Lincoln-Way Marching Band.

MOKENA, IL - The Lincoln-Way Marching Band will be busy on holidays over the next six months. The band will march in the 2018 Mokena 4th of July parade before taking part in the "Granddaddy" of them all, the Tournament of Roses Parade on New Year's Day, Jan. 1, 2019.
The band will surely be a highlight of the local parade on Wednesday, July 4, an event celebrating “200 Years of Amazing Things in Illinois” in honor of the Illinois Bicentennial.
"We are excited to share our pride and joy with our community," said Lincoln-Way Marching Band Director Dr. Bert Johnson.

Parade step-off will be at 10 a.m. at the intersection of La Porte and Wolf roads in downtown Mokena. It will progress throughout the village and wind down on Granite Drive.
It will be televised on Mokena cable channel 6.
