Local Hair Salons Support Mokena Baby Following Liver Transplant
Stop by the salon Friday or Saturday and buy something at the bake sale to support Baby Nathan.

Jeffrey LaMorte Salon & Day Spa of Frankfort and Orland Park will host a bake sale to benefit five-month-old Nathan Whitehead of Mokena. Baby Nathan is recovering from a liver transplant at Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago after being diagnosed with a rare liver disease.
The bake sale will be held at the two salons, located at 20821 South LaGrange Road in Frankfort and 15194 South LaGrange Road in Orland Park, during regular hours on Friday, August 7, and Saturday, August 8. Local area bakers will donate a variety of delicious baked goods. All proceeds from the sale will go towards baby Nathan’s recovery and health care expenses. The salons are encouraging all community members to stop by and purchase something from the bake sale or make a donation.
Salon owner Jeff LaMorte stated, “This story touched our hearts. Our staff decided to help with the family’s medical expenses through the hosting of a community bake sale for baby Nathan.”
