Lost And Found Pets Of Will County: Week of Nov. 25

Patch has compiled a list of recently lost and found pets from around Will County.

WILL COUNTY, IL — A lost dog or cat can be a pet owner's worst nightmare. Families often cover towns in 'lost pet' flyers and reach out on social media for help.

For those who may be searching for a pet, or if you have seen a lost animal and are trying to report it, Patch has created a list of animals who were recently lost or found, including some found by Will County Animal Control, or listed on Lost Cats Illinois or Lost Dogs Illinois.

Channahon

  • Coconut the cat has been missing from Channahon since Sept. 30. He was last seen by I-80 near 13th Road.

Crest Hill

  • Hercules the male Yorkshire Terrier has been missing from Crest Hill since Nov. 23. He is very friendly and he is microchipped.

Crete

  • A stray female Pit Bull was found in Crete Township Nov. 22. She has no microchip.

Godley

  • A stray male kitten was found in Godley Nov. 22. He has no microchip.

Joliet

  • A male brown and white cat was found in Joliet near Plaza Drive and Dellmar Nov. 17. You must provide proof of ownership if this is your cat.

Lockport

  • This male mix breed was found Nov. 24 in Lockport near Bruce and Briggs. Finder is only accepting calls from the owner.

For more information on pets found by Will County Animal Control, call them at (815) 462-5633. The organization does not have the ability to keep strays for long, and will give the dog over to an adoption facility.
