LW Central Students Inducted Into World Language Honor Society
More than 100 students were inducted into the Lincoln-Way Central World Language Honor Society on Feb. 20.
MOKENA, IL — More than 100 students were inducted into the Lincoln-Way Central World Language Honor Society on Feb. 20. The district said the World Language Honor Society recognizes and celebrates high achievement in language study, including Spanish, French, Chinese and German.
Inductees must maintain high academic achievement in their language of study, show leadership skills and demonstrate cultural tolerance.
“You are very well prepared for life after Lincoln-Way, especially in world language,” said Principal Steve Provis. “Look into possibly minoring in a world language because it will open up many doors for you. You’ve worked extremely hard to get to where you’re at.”
