Mokena will hold its Memorial Day service at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Mary’s Cemetery, 195th Street and Wolf Road. A procession will then stop at Pioneer and St. John’s cemeteries. Local school bands will perform for onlookers.
Following the ceremony, William Martin VFW Post 725, 19852 Wolf Road, will welcome guests for hot dogs and entertainment, with music provided from noon to 2:30 p.m. A dedication of the William Martin Post 725 Memorial Wall will take place at approximately 2 p.m.
