Mokena Brewpub Closes Its Doors

MOKENA, IL — The original Tribes Beer Company location, the Mokena Brewpub, will close its doors. Tribes Beer Company posted the news on its business' Facebook page on Thursday. The Mokena Brewpub, located at 11220 W. Lincoln Highway, was originally opened almost 10 years ago, according to the post.

"It has come to say goodbye to our beloved, original Tribes location -- the Mokena Brewpub. It is incredibly difficult to say goodbye to something near and dear to our hearts, but as our lease has come to a close, we have made the difficult decision to not renew," the business shared.

The business will still operate its two other locations: the Tribes Alehouse and Grill in Tinley Park and The Brewery, Tap Room and Beer Garden on Front Street in Mokena.

The location's last full day of food and beverage operation will be Sunday, May 26. The bar will stay open until 12 a.m., Friday, May 31.
