Mokena Clean Up Day Is April 21

Volunteers will be treated to a free lunch on Mokena Clean Up Day, which is planned for April 21 this year.

MOKENA, IL - The village of Mokena will hold its annual Clean Up Day on Saturday, April 21 this year. Anyone interested in volunteering to help clean up the area should bring work gloves and meet at Mokena Village Hall, 11004 Carpenter St. at 9 a.m. The clean up will last until about 1 p.m., according to a flyer shared by the village.

After the clean up, volunteers will be treated to a free lunch of hot dogs, chips, pop and water sponsored by the Village of Mokena Community Affairs Commission.

Members of the Mokena Village Board and staff employees are expected to take part. Students can receive community service hours if they participate.
