Mokena Cop On A Rooftop: Where To See Officers

MOKENA, IL — Mokena Police Department will participate in Cop on a Rooftop on Friday, May 17. The annual event benefits Special Olympics Illinois, and officers will sit on the roof of Dunkin' Donuts to raise awareness and funds for the cause.

Mokena police officers will be at the Dunkin' Donuts at the Gas N' Wash on 191st Street. The event runs from 5 a.m. to 1 p.m. You can come out and help get the Mokena police officers off the roof by donating to Special Olympics Illinois and the Law Enforcement Torch Run.

According to Special Olympics Illinois, more than 310 locations across Illinois will be participating in this year's event with the goal of surpassing last year's total of more than $871,000 raised.
