Mokena Library Plans Blood Drive

MOKENA, IL — The Mokena Community Public Library District will hold a blood drive from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Aug. 10. The blood drive will be held at the library through Versiti Blood Center of Illinois.

Social distancing guidelines will be followed, so masks will be required, the library shared on its Facebook page. Appointments are preferred, but walk-ups will be allowed if there is room.

You can make an appointment online or call or text 734-755-7245 to schedule an appointment. Photo ID will be required when donating.

Before donating blood, you should eat a healthy meal and drink plenty of water.
