Mokena Man Killed During Work Accident, GoFundMe Created
A GoFundMe has been created after a Mokena man died during a work accident Tuesday.

MOKENA, IL — A Mokena man was killed during a work accident at the La Salle Generating Station-Exelon near Marseilles, the La Salle County Coroner's office said. Brett Roberts, 37, died Tuesday at the station, where he was employed as a maintenance diver.
WSPY News reported communications with Roberts was lost, and he was pulled from the water unresponsive.
A GoFundMe has been created for Roberts' family, and funds will benefit his family. Roberts was married and had three young children, ages 12, 8 and 3.

The La Salle County Coroner's office said the incident is under investigation by the the coroner's office, OSHA and the Nuclear Regulatory Commission.
