Mokena Park District Staff Member is Young Professional of the Year

Mokena Community Park District is excited to announce that Brenna Bowers, Recreation Supervisor, was recently awarded the South Suburban Park & Recreation Professional Association, Young Professional of the Year. In recognition of Brenna’s dedication, vision and service in the Parks and Recreation Field. The SSPRPA brings Parks and Recreation professionals together for education, training and support that benefits the south suburban communities.

Brenna has been with the Mokena Park District since 2021. As a Recreation Supervisor she manages staff members, volunteers, and a wide variety of programs and events for all ages­–from summer camps to senior lunches. Congratulations Brenna! We’re proud of you and your achievement.
