Mokena School District 159 District and School Newsletters Available for Community on District Website

Mokena School District 159 has created a website page that houses current district and school newsletters in one place for easy accessibility for families and the community. This update comes after the district’s Parent/Teacher Advisory Committee provided the suggestion during a feedback session on district communications. Parents will continue to receive emails with the newsletters from each school's principal and the district’s superintendent.

Superintendent Robert Gurney shared, “Over the last six months we have actively sought out parent and staff feedback from multiple avenues including our Parent/Teacher Advisory Committee. We believe that the development of this enhanced webpage will help foster improved communication in our school district.”

The newsletters provide information on happenings throughout the district and within each of the three Mokena schools. Families and community members can access the most recent and past editions of these newsletters at https://www.mokena159.org/page/district-newsletter or under the "Parents" dropdown on the district's homepage.
