Mokena School District 159 Looking For Substitute Teachers

MOKENA, IL — Mokena School District 159 is looking for additional substitute teachers for its three grade schools. The district said it has now increased its sub rate for 2020-2021 from $90 per day to $135 per day.

For the 2021-2022 school year, the sub rate will decrease to $115 per day.

To apply to become a substitute teacher, applicants must be appropriately licensed/certified by the Illinois State Board of Education or licensed by the Will County Regional Office of Education as a substitute teacher.
