Mokena VFW Holds Memorial Day Remembrance Ceremony
After the ceremonies, you can head to Post 725, at 19852 S. Wolf Road, for a patriotic concert by students.
MOKENA, IL — The William Martin VFW Post 725 in Mokena will hold a Memorial Day remembrance on Monday, May 27. The members of the VFW will hold a memorial service at 10 a.m. at St. Mary's Cemetery, proceeding to Pioneer Cemetery and then to St. John's Cemetery.
According to the village, after the ceremonies, you can head to Post 725, at 19852 S. Wolf Road, for a patriotic concert by students from All About Music & Children's Theatre from noon to 2 p.m. There will also be a dedication of names added to the William Martin Post 725 Memorial Wall at 1 p.m.
