MOKENA, IL — At the village board meeting on May 13, trustees Debbie Engler, Jim Richmond, Joe Budzyn and Jillian Hersted, along with village clerk Melissa Martini, took their oaths and were sworn into office. The village said Engler, Richmond and Budzyn are continuing their time on their board after being re-elected.
Hersted and Martini were also each elected to their offices after having been appointed in April 2018, following the resignation of long-time trustee John Mazzorana.
Mayor Frank Fleischer and trustees Joe Siwinski and George Metanias round out the board. All were re-elected in 2017 and will serve for another 2 years.
