NAWS Adoptable Pet Of The Week: Duke

MOKENA, IL — For those looking to adopt a pet, a great place to look for your new family member is at NAWS Humane Society of Illinois. This week's 'Adoptable Pet' is Duke, who is available for adoption at the humane society.

Duke is a 6-year-old male hound. The society said he is very sweet, but can be shy until he knows someone.

Duke is potty-trained, and knows basic commands like 'sit.' The society said he gets along with other dogs, but he does not like cats. He also takes treats very gently, and is playful and has lots of energy.
