NAWS Adoptable Pet Of The Week: Gumbo

MOKENA, IL — For those looking to adopt a pet, a great place to look for your new family member is at NAWS Humane Society of Illinois. This week's 'Adoptable Pet' is Gumbo, who is available for adoption at the humane society.

Gumbo is a 1-year-old male, black and white, domestic short hair. He was abandoned at a vet's office in Iowa before coming to NAWS, the society said. Gumbo is friendly, outgoing and active.

Gumbo loves playing with toys, and also gets along well with other cats, the society said. He also loves to sit in the window and watch the birds. He loves attention and is very affectionated.
