NAWS Adoptable Pet Of The Week: JK Rowling

MOKENA, IL — For those looking to adopt a pet, a great place to look for your new family member is at NAWS Humane Society of Illinois. This week's 'Adoptable Pet' is JK Rowling, who is available for adoption at the humane society.

JK Rowling is a 1 and a half-year-old female, grey and white, domestic shorthair cat. The society said she was rescued from a horrible situation where children were torturing her and her kittens.

Her kittens have all been adopted, and now it is JK Rowling's turn to find a loving home. The society said she is very friendly, outgoing, social and lovable. She loves attention and will roll on her back for belly rubs.
