NAWS Adoptable Pet Of The Week: Missy

Missy was rescued from a local animal control with her kittens to prevent their euthanasia.

MOKENA, IL — For those looking to adopt a pet, a great place to look for your new family member is at NAWS Humane Society of Illinois. This week's 'Adoptable Pet' is Missy, who is available for adoption at the humane society.

Missy is a 5-year-old female domestic shorthair cat. The society said she was rescued from a local animal control with her kittens to prevent their euthanasia.

Missy is sweet and cuddly, and loves to sit on the lap of someone she loves. The society said she is playful with humans. Missy would prefer to be the only cat in a home, but with a slow introduction, she would likely adjust to another cat.
