NAWS Adoptable Pet Of The Week: Rover

MOKENA, IL — For those looking to adopt a pet, a great place to look for your new family member is at NAWS Humane Society of Illinois. This week's adoptable pet is Rover, who is available for adoption at the humane society.

Rover is a 1-year-old male mixed breed dog. The society said he is a young, energetic boy with a lot of puppy energy.

Rover loves people, and is very friendly and outgoing. The society said he is very smart and will learn fast, but needs an owner who will work on his training. He is also treat-motivated, and takes treats very gently.

The society said Rover is also potty-trained and knows 'sit.' He likes other dogs and would love a big yard to run in.
