MOKENA, IL — For those looking to adopt a pet, a great place to look for your new family member is at NAWS Humane Society of Illinois. This week's 'Adoptable Pet' is Spotchem, who is available for adoption at the humane society.

Spotchem is a 1 and a half year old male domestic shorthair cat. The society said he was a foster kitten at NAWS when he was young, then was adopted and lived in a home for a year, before sadly being abandoned back at NAWS.

Spotchem is friendly, curious and gentle. He loves to be near people and will rub against your legs looking for love and attention. Spotchem gets along with other cats, but prefers adult cats and not energetic kittens.
