MOKENA, IL — For those looking to adopt a pet, a great place to look for your new family member is at NAWS Humane Society of Illinois. This week's 'Adoptable Pet' is Tally, who is available for adoption at the humane society.
Tally is a 2-year-old hound. The society said she is sweet and goofy and loves everyone she meets. Tally is energetic and loves to go on walks, and especially likes walking with another dog.
The society said she gets along with other dogs and prefers ones who will play with her. Tally loves treats and loves attention, and will often lean on people and get as close as possible while they are petting her.

NAWS Humane Society of Illinois is located at 9981 W. 190th St., Suite A, in Mokena. The society is open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday; 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday; and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sunday.
