NAWS Adoptable Pet Of The Week: Timber

Once Timber feels safe, he shows his silly personality and becomes sweet and loving.

MOKENA, IL — For those looking to adopt a pet, a great place to look for your new family member is at NAWS Humane Society of Illinois. This week's 'Adoptable Pet' is Timber, who is available for adoption at the humane society.

Timber is a 4-year-old male Pit Bull mix. The society said Timber needs an experienced owner; he is shy at first and nervous in new situations, and he will need a patient owner who will give him time to trust.

Once Timber feels safe, he shows his silly personality and becomes sweet and loving, the society said. He has a lot of energy, and he may even get the zoomies when he's in a playful mood.
