NAWS Adoptable Pets Of The Week: Mamacita

Mamacita was pulled from a high kill shelter in southern Illinois to prevent euthanasia.

MOKENA, IL — For those looking to adopt a pet, a great place to look for your new family member is at NAWS Humane Society of Illinois. This week's 'Adoptable Pet' is Mamacita, who is available for adoption at the humane society.

Mamacita is a one-year-old female, all white, domestic short-hair cat. The society said she was pulled from a high kill shelter in southern Illinois to prevent euthanasia.

Mamacita is a quiet, calm and gentle girl. The society said she is not a fan of the busy rescue surroundings, so she is a little tentative and shy. However, once she feels safe, she relaxes and loves attention and to be pet.
