Seattle Sutton’s, which opened its Mokena location in late January, offers healthy prepackaged meals.

The company provides freshly prepared meal programs starting at $130 per week and has more than 100 locations in Illinois.

“It’s an overall healthy eating program,” said David Reitz, who is the distributor for the new Mokena location.

The meals are prepared by nutrition experts. Meal programs are used to combat conditions such as high cholesterol, high blood pressure, diabetes and obesity.

Program participants are not obligated to commit to a contract and can renew their participation in the program on a week-to-week basis.

Meal programs are available in seven-day and five-day plans and provide either 1,200 calories per day or 2,000 calories per day. The programs include three meals for each day of the week.
